A 27-year-old Victoria man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing at a party in Gordon Head last weekend.
Saanich police responded to a report of a stabbing at a house party on Francisco Terrace just before midnight on Dec. 2, said Det. Const. Damian Kowalewich.
The 18-year-old victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
Saanich police and the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team arrested the man outside of the Tim Hortons on Gorge Road East on Thursday.
Cory Nguyen, 27, of Greater Victoria, is charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. He remains in police custody.
