Drive B.C. has issued a number of advisories about poor road conditions north of Nanaimo caused by heavy rain and strong winds.
Heavy rain is causing water to pool in both directions on Highway 19 from Nanaimo to Port Hardy. Drive B.C. also reports strong cross winds from Cook Creek Road to Campbell River.
Water pooling and strong cross wind advisories are also in place for Highway 4, from Parksville to Ucluelet and Tofino.
