Hannah Day, 4, expected to return home to Langford today

Today marks 100 days since Hannah Day, 4, was declared cancer-free, triggering her return to the Island from B.C. Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. The Langford family expects to arrive at Swartz Bay ferry terminal about 2:35 p.m.

Today marks 100 days since Hannah Day, 4, was declared cancer-free, triggering her return to the Island from B.C. Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.

The Langford family expects to arrive at Swartz Bay ferry terminal about 2:35 p.m.

Supporters are planning to line the road to greet the family as they travel to their Luxton Road home via the Pat Bay Highway, McKenzie Avenue, the Trans-Canada Highway, Veterans Memorial Parkway and Sooke Road.

A barbecue by Paul Archer follows at 696 Charmar Cres. at 6 p.m. Everyone welcome. Condiments and salad provided; bring your own food.
