• Greater Victoria school district — No closures reported for Esquimalt, Oak Bay, Victoria, View Royal, and portions of Saanich and Highlands. Buses are running, but roads conditions are slushy. Traffic to and from schools will be congested.
• Sooke school district — Schools are open in Sooke, Highlands, Metchosin, Colwood and Langford, and school buses are in service. Port Renfrew schools are not open today, however.
• Saanich school district — Schools are open today. Buses are running but may in some cases be delayed.
• Gulf Islands school district — All schools are closed due to dangerous road conditions.
• University of Victoria — Campus is open today. BC Transit buses, however, may be running behind schedule. Campus security reported that parking enforcement did not occur overnight but is expected to be enforced today.
• Camosun College — Lansdowne and Interurban campuses open. Delays with BC Transit service is being reported, however.
• Cowichan School District — All schools closed due to snow.
• Vancouver Island University — Cowichan and Powell River campuses are closed, but Nanaimo and Parksville/Qualicum campuses are open.
