Goods worth $25,000 stolen from Uplands home: police

Thieves cleared an Uplands home of about $25,000 worth of electronics, watches and purses during a three-hour window on Christmas Eve.

Thieves cleared an Uplands home of about $25,000 worth of electronics, watches and purses on Christmas Eve.

Oak Bay police say the family left the Lansdowne Road home about 4 p.m. Thursday. When they returned at 7 p.m., several items were missing, said Sgt. Ray Maxwell.

Entry was made by forcing the latch on a set of French doors, police said.

Among the stolen items were:

• White Louis Vuitton purse

• Brown/tan Louis Vuitton wallet

• Brown Gucci GG Flight purse

• Green men’s Breitling Bentley Navitimer Heritage watch

• Silver men’s Rolex Submariner analog watch

• Two silver Apple Mac Pros

• Two white iPads
