Free rides, late-night service on buses New Year’s Eve

There will be a few adjustments to the Greater Victoria bus schedule during the holidays, along with a bonus for riders.

Buses will follow a Saturday schedule (no late-night service) today.

On Dec. 31, B.C. Transit is offering free rides after 6 p.m. That day will follow a Saturday schedule, with late-night service on routes No. 4 (UVic/Downtown), No. 6 (Royal Oak Exchange/Esquimalt) and No. 14 (Vic General/UVic).

Buses will follow a Sunday schedule on New Year’s Day. — Times Colonist
