Environment Canada has sent out a special weather advisory for what is called a “tropical depression” in the form of an intense fall storm.

There will likely be heavy rainfalls with between 50 and 100 millimetres of precipitation possible through the period. The agency said storm and wind warnings are likely to be issued Sunday in coastal regions.
