This late-model white sedan was among numerous vehicles struck at an apartment building parking lot on Carlton Terrace in Esquimalt.

Medical issues might have been behind a Tuesday night incident on Carlton Terrace in Esquimalt where multiple vehicles on two adjacent properties were damaged.

The driver wasn’t hurt but was sent to hospital for evaluation and her driver’s licence was seized.

“It looks like she went to park and then essentially drove through a fence, into the second parking lot and then kind of around into the first parking lot again,” said Victoria police acting spokesman Bowen Osoko.

She hit vehicles in the process, then backed up and hit another one, Osoko said.

The driver stayed at the scene.

Police said that drug or alcohol impairment do not appear to have been factors.
