A mudslide has closed a stretch of Cowichan Bay Road between Wessex and Wilmot roads for the second time this month.
Mainroad South Island Contracting said the closure will be in place until 3 p.m. today or perhaps sooner while cleanup is going on.
Traffic is being rerouted around the area onto Hillbank and Koksilah roads.
