Campbell River RCMP busted a drug operation at a Carlyle Crescent home last Friday, the second major raid in the area in the past two weeks.
Officers found $226,000 in cash and 75 grams of heroin as well as other illegal drugs including Ecstasy.
A 43-year-old Campbell River man was arrested and released and will appear in court April 8 in Campbell River.
Charges of possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act are being recommended.
On Feb. 15, police seized $159,000 and 11 ounces of cocaine from another residence.
Campbell River RCMP say these seizures are a part of their commitment to “keeping our community safe by fighting illegal drug activity.”
