Boil-water notice lifted in Comox, Courtenay

A boil-water advisory has been lifted for the Comox Valley.

A boil-water advisory has been lifted for the Comox Valley.

The notice was issued Saturday by the Comox Valley Regional District and Island Health after heavy rains caused high levels of turbidity, which can interfere with the process used to disinfect the water.

Courtenay, Comox, and the Comox Valley, Arden, Marsden/Camco, Greaves Crescent and England Road water local service areas were affected.

The CVRD recommends that all cold-water faucets and drinking fountains be run for one minute before consuming the water after a boil-water notice has been lifted.
