Update
The body of missing boater Daniel Borthwick has been found in the North Saanich area.
Someone walking on a beach discovered the body and notified police.
The 42-year-old Borthwick, who was last seen on Nov. 21, was the subject of a search after his eight-foot rigid-hulled inflatable vessel was found washed up in Deep Cove Bay. He lived in a boat moored in Cowichan Bay.
No foul play is suspected. The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating.

The RCMP are looking for a man who is feared to have fallen off his rigid-hulled inflatable boat.
The eight-foot boat, belonging to 42-year-old Daniel Borthwick, was found washed up in Deep Cove Bay. Borthwick lives on a boat that is moored in Cowichan Bay.
He was last seen Nov. 21. A search involving the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre, the 442 Air Squadron, the Canadian Coast Guard and the RCMP West Cast Marine Services has failed to locate him.
Borthwick is white and about five-foot-eight with a heavy build, thinning curly brown hair and a full beard.
