The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating the death of a 60-year-old man who was found floating in the water near the North Saanich Marina.
The body was discovered at 8:50 a.m. Monday by students taking sailing lessons.
Sidney/North Saanich RCMP had the marina secured by police tape as they collected evidence and spoke to witnesses.
The death is not believed to be suspicious, said Sidney/North Saanich RCMP spokesman Cpl. Chris Manseau.
