B.C. Transit bus searched on Sooke Road after gun scare

A gun scare on a B.C. Transit bus prompted a police search on Friday night.

Just before 10 p.m., a B.C. Transit bus driver reported seeing a passenger with what he thought was a handgun.

Several West Shore RCMP vehicles surrounded a bus on Sooke Road while officers investigated.

B.C. Transit officials said police found a realistic replica gun. One man was reportedly arrested.
