Six people with disabilities showcased their artwork at an art show hosted by the Victoria Disability Resource Centre on Wednesday.
The show was timed to celebrate the United Nations’ International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
“My goal was for a variety of disabled artist to show their craft and showcase what they do,” said Les Chan, one of the centre’s directors.
This is the second year the centre has hosted the art show.
The centre serves more than 150 clients with disabilities, helping them remove barriers that prevent full participation in life.
