A 67-year-old Alberta man died Tuesday after being found at the bottom of a pool at the Barclay Hotel in Port Alberni, RCMP said.
Police said it appears that the man collapsed and died as a result of a medical problem. CPR was attempted at the pool before he was taken to hospital by B.C. Ambulance paramedics.
He died shortly after his arrival.
The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating.
