Stabbing sends Nanaimo man to hospital

A Nanaimo resident called police Wednesday afternoon after a man walked into his home bleeding from a stab wound to his arm.

Nanaimo RCMP spokesman Const. Gary O’Brien said the male victim, in his late 30s, had also been pepper sprayed. B.C. Ambulance paramedics took the man to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.

Police searched for the attacker, but the victim would not provide any details about who stabbed him or the circumstances, O’Brien said.
