Stolen helicopter parts valued at $100,000 have turned up in Port Hardy.

Staff at Stryker Electronics told Port Hardy RCMP that a man dropped off the parts, saying he had found them and thought they might belong to the company. The parts did not belong to Stryker, but staff suspected they might be the stolen items they had heard about through media reports.

The items were apparently located along Hardy Bay Road, near Stryker Electronics and not far from where the theft occurred on Nov. 10. The parts, described as small but valuable, were taken from the cab of a pickup truck. Police said all of the missing parts have been accounted for.

Officers are hoping to speak with the man who found the items.
