PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Brett Zarowny stopped all 44 shots he faced as the Prince George Cougars blanked the visiting Kamloops Blazers 1-0 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Jordan Tkatch scored the winning goal at 12:15 of the second period for the Cougars (13-24-5), who ended a seven-game winless streak with the victory.

Cole Cheveldave stopped 19-of-20 shots for the Blazers (28-12-4), who have now won just four of their last 10 games and have fallen four points behind the Kelowna Rockets for first in the B.C. Division.
