With his second shutout of the season, the 19-year-old goaltender improved his record to 18-8-1.

Todd Fiddler scored at 18:18 of the second period for the Chiefs (24-10-1), who won for the first time in three outings.

Mackenzie Skapski stopped 24-of-25 shots in a losing cause for the Ice (10-24-1), who are now winless in four games.
