Patrik Bartosak stops 50 shots as Red Deer beats Prince George 4-3 in shootout

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Patrik Bartosak put on a show with a 50-save performance as the Red Deer Rebels beat the Prince George Cougars 4-3 in a shootout in Western Hockey League play Wednesday.

Rhyse Dieno and Dominik Volek each scored for the Rebels in the shootout, while Joel Hamilton, Christian Stockl and Tyson Ness added goals in regulation.

Bartosak meanwhile was terrific in the third period as Red Deer (28-21-6) was being out-shot 20-10.

Zach Pochiro scored twice for Prince George (16-30-8) while Jari Erricson added one goal.

Cougars goalie Mac Engel meanwhile stopped 27 shots.
