LANGLEY, B.C. - A 40-year-old Cloverdale resident has been identified as the man killed in Langley on New Year's Eve day.

Homicide investigators say Cole Adam Manning was found dead at a Langley home.

Police haven't said how he died.

A 24-year-old man described as a friend of the victim was picked up about two hours after the body was found in the home on Monday morning.

Jason Terrence Brewer is charged with second degree murder.

He is due to appear in a Surrey courtroom this afternoon.
