One man was arrested and another rushed to hospital after police were called to an early-morning stabbing Wednesday.

Officers were called to an apartment in the 800 block of Craigflower Road shortly after 2:00 a.m. to find a man had been stabbed.

He was taken to Victoria General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A male suspect who was on the scene when police arrived was taken into custody. Both the suspect and the victim were known to each other, a police spokesman said.
