Among those who were killed in Sunday's plane crash off Saturna Island were Cindy Schafer and Richard Bruce Haskitt of Huntigton Beach, Calf., who were returning to the U.S. after visiting their vacation home. Their death has affected many, including those who have created a Facebook memorial. Schafer had also maintained a blog called cindy's world, with what she called images and musings by an artist, environmentalist, foodie gardener . . . Some of her images are also posted on the Internet. A memorial blog has also been set up for the couple.
