One person has died after a vehicle went into the water near the Victoria International Airport on the weekend.
Shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Sidney-North Saanich RCMP received call about a vehicle going into Saanich Inlet at the end of Mills Road and West Saanich Road in North Saanich.
First responders searched the shore and determined the driver was the only person in the vehicle when it went into the water.
RCMP officers, B.C. Ambulance paramedics and firefighters all attended the scene.
Police said the death does not appear to be suspicious.
