Nanaimo RCMP are trying to locate the owner of a road bike found Wednesday evening in the downtown area.
The bike, which is in relatively new condition, is a red-and-white Devinci Tosco RC and was found leaning against a wall by officers on routine patrol.
“Given the kind of bike it was and where it was found, the officers believed it had most likely been stolen so it was seized for safe-keeping purposes,” said Reserve Const. Gary O’Brien.
