Thursday: Glenn Viberg is flanked by his sons, Brett, left, and Jason inside their boot factory on Herald Street. Viberg Boot has developed a line for the Asian fashion industry and is also supplying footwear to Europe and the U.S., despite the slow recovery from the recession.
Thursday: Goaltender Matt Ginn came all the way from Ontario for a chance to shine with the Victoria Grizzlies. The payoff could be a U.S. college scholarship.

Monday: Ray and Margaret Bryant travelled to Mexico so that Margaret, who has battled multiple sclerosis for 53 years, could get the controversial "liberation" procedure that some — including the Bryants — are touting as an effective treatment.
