If you don't have a boyfriend to make you blush, who cares? </strong>Stila</strong> has the 'Love at First Blush Palette' ($16 at Shoppers Drug Mart and Murale) to flush your cheeks a flattering shade of pink (3 shades, actually), with no awkward flirtation required.
We've seen her cross over to the blue side recently, but Katy Perry's pink hair is still most certainly our fave. <p>Single ladies heading out for cinnamon-spiced cocktails on Feb 14th should fatten up their hair with <strong>Samy</strong> FAT Hair '0 Calories' Amplifying Mousse ($10 at drugstores) and a few strokes of </strong>Kevin Murphy</strong> Color Bug in 'Pink' ($20 at <a href="http://www.kevinmurphy.com.au./">Kevin Murphy</a>.</p>
Remember back in elementary school when your teacher would decorate the classroom and you'd hang paper bags on your desk to receive Valentine's Day notes from your friends? Re-mix that innocent feeling by decorating your den and inviting your friends over for some cheese fondue. <p>We love these cutesty heart-shaped soaps - 'Cranberry Love' by <strong><a href="http://www.fruits-passion.ca/heart-shaped-glycerin-soap-cranberry-love-100/">Fruits & Passion</a></strong> and 'Chocomania' by <strong>The Body Shop</strong> - and would happily have them provoke our homes' festive flair. </p>
The new smoky eye for spring is deep, not dark, and we especially love its contrast with a barely-there lip. Apply a rich blue, purple or periwinkle shadow, like 'Blue Sapphire' by </strong>Stila</strong> ($26 at Shoppers Drug Mart and Murale) from your lashes all the way to your brow bone as a nod to the 70s, beauty's boldest decade. Keep your lips light and ready for locking with 'Bare' Lipstick by <strong>Joe Fresh</strong> ($6 at <a href="http://www.joefresh.com/en/product/cream-lipstick-fall-collection">Joe Fresh</a>, should the opportunity arise.
They say the devil is in the details, which in the case of <strong>Nail Rock</strong>nail wraps, is true. There's no chance we'd be able to successfully sketch little tiny hearts into our painted nails before smudging them into harsher shapes like, say, a skull and crossbones. Cher Horowitz said it best: "Anything you can do to draw attention to your mouth is good". Well, <strong>NARS</strong> sure made that easy with their collection of 'Larger Than Life' lip glosses ($28 at <a href="http://www.narscosmetics.ca/?d=true">NARScosmetics.ca</a>) which range from soft lilac (Born this Way) and bright pink (Coeur Sucr&#233;) to cherry red (Norma) and everything in between.
Quite possibly the only clash-ier combination than red-and-pink is orange-and-pink, a duo favoured by <strong>Milly</strong> on their spring/summer runway. <p>Look for super bright, opaque consistencies without shine or shimmer for the most abrupt opposition. We love 'Pink.
