At Sangster Elementary School in Colwood, an educational experiment is getting kindergarten students out of the classroom and into nature. Twenty-two kids start each day with a two-kilometre hike, play outdoors, eat their snacks in the woods and then head back to school for a nap and classroom time in the afternoon.
