Only six weeks after giving birth to a baby girl, supermodel Heidi Klum returned to the runway during the taping of the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show. Though the model turned Project Runway host was supposed to MC the event this year, Klum took a surprise turn down the runway drawing cheers from the crowd at New York’s Lexington Armory.

Victoria's Secret regulars Adriana Lima and Karolina Kurkova also recently gave birth, forcing the lingerie retailer to induct five new models into its rank of Victoria's Secret “angels” earlier this fall. Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson and Candice Swanepoel made their debut in last night’s show, which will air December 1 on CBS.

Show highlights include a $3 million diamond-encrusted bra worn by Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Marissa Miller and a performance of Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas.
