Showing Gallery: House Beautiful's Ten Mile Point penthouse
Christopher Donison is a pianist, composer, librettist, conductor, lecturer and founder of the Music By the Sea Festival in Bamfield. But he is also an interior designer of some note, and recently transformed his parents’ former Wedgewood Point penthouse in Ten Mile Point by renovating it from top to bottom.

The bedroom has a large window into the bathroom, with plantation louvres on either side and a broad sill for candles. It lends a resort feel to the area, something Donison and his partner, Cheryl, admired in several hotels theyÍve visited.

Donison uses a large open area next to the kitchen as a lounge. As with the rest of the penthouse, he chose colours that would harmonize with the light and seascape.

All the furniture in the dining room, as well as in the front entry and the living room, is from Luxe Home Interiors. They are great supporters of the arts in our community,î Donison said.
