On Christmas Eve, Hoops, Yoyo and their friend, Piddles, disrupt the time-space continuum after sneaking into Santa's sleigh. Then, "The Elf on the Shelf: An Elf's Story" centres on an elf named Chippey who tries to help a young boy who is struggling to believe in the magic of Christmas. (Global)
Christmas movie classics abound on the dial tonight, with the Bing Crosby-Danny Kaye musical "White Christmas" sure to put you in a festive mood over on AMC. The 1954 feel-good romp is chock full of everything magical about the season: a winter wonderland, infectious tunes and a bit of romance. Over on CBC, there's "Miracle on 34th Street" for anyone doubting Santa's existence. An adwoman's lawyer boyfriend tries to prove that Macy's Santa Claus is the real thing.
