TORONTO - The annual competition to score a gig at MuchMusic kicks off Feb. 19.

Hopefuls will be able to create a profile and upload a submission video at http://www.muchmusic.com/vjsearch.

The video should reveal "personal style and interests" as well as opinions on up-and-coming bands, trends, movies and more.

Applicants have until March 10 at 11:59 p.m. ET to get their name in.

Much says the successful candidate will get to interview some top-tier bands, travel across the country, and work at the iconic Much headquarters in Toronto.

The field will be whittled down to a Top 20 list that will be announced March 29. A month-long reality series starting April 1 will see the semi-finalists compete for the coveted job.
