FREDERICTON - Fredericton is gearing up for a winter festival that starts later this month.

Known as Frostival, the first-time event brings together several festivals and events under one banner.

Fredericton Tourism says the festival includes Winterfesthiver, the Shivering Songs Festival, Snowarama and local pond hockey tournaments.

It begins Jan. 25 with the Shivering Songs Festival, and runs through four more weekends.
