Gaigham  Ghazarian started running when he was 80, he is now 83, when he was 80 he did the half marathon and got first in his age category and deemed oldest man in the race that year. He is legally blind, but has some peripheral vision. He has type two diabetes and has lost 120lbs doing this exercise.
Race organizers said he could do his race at the track.
