Producer Joby Baker, singer-songwriter Mae Moore and singer Anne Schaefer are among the nominees for the 2012 Vancouver Island Music Awards.

Nominees were announced Thursday. Twelve music industry professionals juried 86 submissions.

The VIMA awards ceremony takes place April 21 at Fairfield United Church.
