Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was rushed to hospital following the death of her mother.

Celebrity website TMZ reported that Bobbi Kristina Brown was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from the Beverly Hilton, the hotel where Houston passed away.

People Magazine quoted a source who stated that Brown had a a "complete breakdown" following the death of her mother.

"She was taken to hospital and treated for stress," a family friend told AFP.

Brown is the only daughter of Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown.
