Re: “Chan stumbles to silver medal,” Feb. 15.
Patrick Chan did not stumble to silver, he won silver with determination, grace and dignity.
Contrary to the reporter’s opinion that “his program completely unravelled,” Chan’s skating, while not perfect, was electrifying, challenging and a program worthy of the pride and support of all Canadians. He gave his all.
Patrick deserves better and Times Colonist readers deserve better.
