Victoria-based Neverblue Media has been acquired by GlobalWide Media of California.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Neverblue was purchased from its parent company, V2V Holdings, which in April filed for bankruptcy protection.
"We are excited to enhance our capabilities and reach with the Neverblue acquisition," said Farshad Fardad, CEO of GlobalWide Media.
"GlobalWide Media's and Neverblue's core competencies are highly complementary and will allow the combined company to further accelerate the growth initiatives of both companies, with the ultimate goal of delivering profitable highly targeted customers to our advertisers and additional value for our media partners."
GlobalWide is an affiliate marketing company that connects advertisers with targeted consumer audiences via display advertising, search-engine marketing, social media, mobile, and email marketing.
Neverblue is an online marketing and lead-generating company that two years ago had nearly 100 employees.
It was a Canadian subsidiary of V2V Holdings (Vertrue), which also owns online dating website Lavalife.
"The Neverblue team has developed solid relationships and partnerships in the industry that have contributed to the company's success," said Fardad.
