ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A spokesman for the salvage of a Royal Dutch Shell PLC drill barge says salvers have not made a plan for moving the vessel from Alaska's Kodiak Island.
Jim Appleby of the unified command joint information centre says nothing has changed in the week since the last information was released on the salvage operation of the Kulluk.
He says salvers continue to review information collected during damage assessment.
The 266-foot-diameter Kulluk drilled last year in the Beaufort Sea off Alaska's north coast. It was being moved to Seattle last month when a tow line snapped. Efforts to keep the lines reattached failed and the vessel ran aground New Year's Eve.
The Kulluk was refloated Jan. 6 and moved to a protected bay southwest of the city of Kodiak.
