The Victoria Innovation, Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship Council added seven new members to its board this week in voting that drew a record 15 candidates.
“We are blown away by the level of interest and calibre of the candidates,” said Dan Gunn, CEO of VIATEC. “While I did not envy them in the tough choices they had to make, the members did a great job electing a board that closely reflects the broader membership. The VIATEC team looks forward to working with them.”
New board members are Scott Dewis of RaceRocks 3D Inc.; Colin How of How Creative; Mark Longo of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP; Owen Matthews of Wesley Clover; Rasool Rayani of RDL; Nicole Smith of Flytographer; and Brianna Wettlaufer of Stocksy United.
The returning members are Jim Balcom, Redlen Technologies Inc.; Robert Cooper, PlusROI Online Marketing Inc.; Ho Kim, Protection 1; Bobbi Leach, RevenueWire Inc.; Alex Mendelev, TinyMob Games; Christina Seargeant, Workday; and Brad Williams, Helm Operations.
