Weigh scale

Q: I financed my university education with a student loan. I have a good job and don't regret this. I pay $300 on my loan each month and have seven years to go before it's all repaid. I could afford to pay it off in three years if I increase my payment to $634 a month, but then I'd have to put off starting a registered retirement savings plan. My employer has an RRSP-matching program of 50 per cent. Should I pay off my loan faster or start an RRSP?
