MONTREAL - Canadian National Railway Co. (TSX:CNR) said Friday that it has reached a tentative labour agreement with about 700 signals and communications workers in Canada

Details of the agreement with the workers represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, System Council 11, were not immediately available.

The company said the agreement replaces a contract set to expire Dec. 31.

A ratification vote is expected next month.
