Any bus shelter better than no shelter at all

Re: “Perforated bus shelters causing a holey uproar,” Dec. 9

Bus users are complaining about the new perforated bus shelters.

My 85-year-old mother recently stood 40 minutes waiting for a bus at a stop that until this year had a shelter. Now there is nothing — no shelter, no seating. A perforated bus shelter sounds pretty enticing.
