A man's skeleton was found inside an abandoned truck this week in Victoria.

 
 
 
 
The skeletal remains were found in a derelict five-tonne truck in Vic West. it is believed an elderly man was living in the truck, locking it from the inside.

The skeletal remains were found in a derelict five-tonne truck in Vic West. it is believed an elderly man was living in the truck, locking it from the inside.
Cause of the man's death is unknown. It could take a couple of weeks to get laboratory test results.
The truck can be seen on the right, facing Catherine Street. Spinnakers Pub is on the upper left side of the photo.
Several police officers attended as well as the coroner's service.
Forensics investigators document contents of the truck where the remains of a body was found on Catherines Street.
The coroner's service removed the remains to Royal Jubilee Hospital.
The truck was filled with miscellaneous items such as a car, rusting chairs, a ladder, a suitcase and bags of clothes.
The remains were taken to Royal Jubilee Hospital before being sent to Vancouver for further analysis.
