Photos taken on July 15, 2011 and in March 2011 show the heritage building on Victoria's harbour readies the former home of the Royal London Wax Museum for new, still undetermined, tenants.

The 1924 Edwardian classical revival building closed last fall for seismic upgrading but workers discovered more critical work was needed.
The former wax museum whose mannequins attracted thousands of tourists over the years is now buzzing with work crews.
Work continues on the five million dollar CPR steamship building project on Belleville street in Victoria, B.C. July  15, 2011.
The building most recently housed the Royal London Wax Museum that closed after operating in the location since 1969.
Structural improvements will allow a variety of uses for the 20,900-square -oot building.
The buiding dates to the 1920s and was designed by  built by architects Francis Rattenbury and P.L. James.

The landmark building, designed and built by architects Francis Rattenbury and P.L. James, rose by $1.75 million from $3.25 million after additional structural problems came to light when workers opened up walls.
